Love town of York so friendly, comfortable, excellent food coffee. Beautiful place to be.
Beutiful place to stay...a little noisy early in the morning as staff live there too. All in all good value for money.
For $80 queen room with all u can eat breakfast, one can over look it's dagginess. Very popular with workers who were very quiet after 8ish. Mad Mo's cafe provided take away evening meal. Shower in bath. Should provide handrail WH&S. A supply of shampoo, conditioner and body wash present. Two lg towels and 5 pillows. Hairdryer. Small, small TV. Amenities provided.
Great for a quick and very cheap overnight stop over. Owner/manager was a little difficult to contact, but whom made up afterwards for their good customer service. Facilities seemed somewhat recently refurbished, they were quite nice.
I believe it's now called Settlers House. Very nice clean rooms with good facilities in a great location. Staff are really nice and handled the mad weekend rush and resturant/bar very well. The only negative would be the thin walls. Next door getting up at 4am on Sunday morning, running their TV until 6 am when they left, very loudly, was a bit hard to take.
