A very nice pub with much better than pub meals. Very friendly staff and lots of smiles.
Eaten here on quite a few occasions. Each meal was fantastic and reasonably priced.Live bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings were great and for those sitting outside on a fantastic warm evening, they even supply the aeroguard. 5 stars to the friendly staff too.
It's not a new place, old as the hills, in fact. I gave 5 star for its charm and good food and good service.

What an incredible place to visit when you're visiting York. They said this was a RV friendly town and the service we received from the Settlers House was outstanding. The food was great as was the coffee and the staff serving us. This historic building is a must visit when you pass through York. The whole place reeks of history and memorabilia from the days of old.
