Very peaceful place to free camp for the night. Pleasant surroundings along with a BBQ site and toilets that are maintained by a local. If you are staying the night in the morning you may want a coffee to start your day then visit the shop next to the Hardware store. It's where the locals go. Plenty to see and do in York.
